Ace or (Ace-Chan)
Ace was born January 20th 2010 in Alliston, Ontario.
He was picked by his human mommy & daddy within a few hours of birth!
We picked him out of a litter of 9 puppies!!!!
He was the only little peanut with his head already up just ready for the outside world. We knew right away he was ours.
Ace is a Pure Bred Miniature Australian Shepherd.
There tends to be a lot of confusion when we tell people this. No he is not mixed with another breed & YES there really are mini's! They just breed the smaller versions of Standards!
Ace is a blue merle with his right eye blue & left eye brown. He sure is one cute guy!
Ace enjoys spending every waking (and sleeping) moment with his human mommy and his new buddy Sam, the 8 year old Golden retriever. He is a bit of a drama queen...I guess I can credit myself for that...woops! :)
Ace tends to be a bit reserved and will watch and observe a situation before jumping in with all (4) feet. He enjoys belly rubs from everyone & wishes other doggies he meets would rub his belly as well.
He has one of the best dispositions I have ever come across in a dog. He is loyal, loving, playful, & protective!
This is my first *Fur* Baby, so I created this blog to document Ace's life growing up & all of the adventures we go on!
Ace and I recently moved from Toronto, Ontario to New York, after Ace's Daddy & I decided to split after 3 great years together. Who knows what the future holds, but in the meantime we are living in the moment, having lots of fun, and of course, getting into Mini Aussie Mischief!
Being a First Time puppy parent sure has it's ups and downs & I wanted to share them with you!
